Got my 2nd annual vehicle inspection here in Virginia. Went well, except I got failed for my amber fog lights this year. Same lights were on it last year, same shop, different inspector. Went home, took them off, and went back to get reinspected. For the reinspection, I got the inspector that did it last year, and he said I shouldn't have been failed for them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Find a different inspection station. I got mine inspected recently and the guy asked me to text him the VIN#. I got to his shop, he jumped into my Jeep, put the sticker on and said, "you're all good." In the past I was failed at different inspection stations for a windshield decal and the guy said my stock headlights weren't bright enough.

I'm guessing it was what the windshield decal said that made him fail me. He was probably a member here. ;)

Best way is to flex it out so you ensure the shocks aren't limiting your droop.

If they're undersized for the up travel & you don't have the right bump stop... the shock will let you know at that point... 💥

What actually limits the droop?

Asking because just last week when I took out my (what I think are original) shocks my rear axle dropped (drooped?) another 2-3 inches lower.

Well the shocks did limit the droop. I guess that means they are supposed to.

The springs and shocks should work together. Too long shocks with short springs don't cut it. The opposite is true also. Smarter people will chime in with much better details. When I raced motocross, I had tons of suspension travel and bottoming out on 20'+ high jumps was normal. It wasn't soft at those heights either.

Stole my multifunction switch from my 03 and swapped it into my LJ. Dimming/interior light while driving works now.

Any idea how to upload videos on here? Is that a lifetime supporting member feature?
