What did you do to your TJ today?

Got done putting my 8.8 in with all the OEM Control Arms and track bar. Thinking about upgrading very soon, what do yall suggest on running?

I cleaned the shop and made another materials list for the kayak trailer build I started last weekend.

@Chris , I have started another off road trailer build for our kayaks. When I get ready to write a post and post pics. What section do I post that in. I didn't think posting it in the TJ builds section was right. But trailer will be pulled by a TJ lol

I think the build section would actually be appropriate!

The shop is done!(except for doors, coming in a week or two).i don’t love the color of the mansard(canopy). Dave said he has extra dark to change the front strip if it doesn’t grow on me). The strip on the roof is to help with snow and ice from falling . View attachment 35746View attachment 35747 View attachment 35748
Hes already is starting to fill it up. He just can’t wait.View attachment 35749
He scored this pump? From work. Says it will be nice for a lot of different things.View attachment 35750
There my Suni sits waiting for her turn to get in .View attachment 35751
Dave put up plastic until the door gets installed to help keep it warm. He’s gonna do the same on the front. And his

The shop looks awesome!. The ceiling and wall liner panels are a nice touch.

I had built a storage box for the cargo area a couple of years ago, and since I had taken the rear seat out I had built the box fairly large. Well, as time went by I began to get requests from kids and grandkids for a ride in the Jeep, and I spent more time than I wanted swapping between the box and the seat. I finally got fed up with it and cut the box down so it would fit behind the seat. As it turned out, I only had to shorten the box by about 2 inches, so I didn't even lose much storage space. I can still put everything I had before in the drawer, I just had to pack it a little better. So it is true - with an LJ, I CAN HAVE EVERYTHING!!

Neal, that box is sweet! Did you build it from plans?

It looks like a drawer. Is that what you built? I like it. I’m handy with carpentry. I have a TJ rather than LJ, so it would be less deep but I could go taller, and then stuff would at least be contained in the Jeep and lockable. Thanks

Nope, I just sat down with a blank piece of paper and sketched out what I wanted it to look like. One of the few projects I have ever done that worked out exactly as I had planned it - and then I had to go and change it!

Last night I steam cleaned (I think that's the right word) the rear seat in the TJ. I had taken it out of the Jeep and it was in my spare bedroom. I bought a Bissell Little Green Cleaner with heat. Been wanting one for a while...the Jeep gave me the perfect excuse. First time using it things went slow. Took me about 45 minutes, but it came out looking close to new. And the black water that came out of the seat was ridiculous.

Tonight I plan to do the front seats in the Jeep. Once they are done I can put my Bartact seat covers on. I just bought covers for the front seat as I doubt I will ever put the rear seat back in the Jeep again...

Well I believe we have committed to adopting @Drizit, his wife, and cats. But like I told him, the more the merrier. It would be a tj commune . Lol. So @KCsTJ , that would include you, especially if you have cleaning skills !
Thank you everyone. We are very excited to get things working in there.
