What did you do to your TJ today?

The last part that FedEx "delivered" to me, they put it on three different trucks "out for delivery" in three days. All from my home city. I'm guessing FedEx hires the ex-McDonalds employees that I.C.E. didn't scoop up. Customer service is a myth these days.

I just bought something that included "free shipping". They gave me the option to pay an extra $10 to ship it UPS vs FedUp. I paid it.

Fedex gal shredded a tire on the way to my place. Noticed it dropping off a package. In front of my shop. With a lift. Floor jacks. Impact guns.

I could have swapped that tire faster than a Nascar pit crew.

Against policy. They sent another truck to pick up the packages. Six hours later a tow truck showed up.

Greased all the 9th degree joints, driveline and such. Working hard to Huck Finn a racing shop owner into doing rear axle work on the new to me TJ. Negotiations underway. Hard telling what will happen.

Plotting skid plate removal for transmission filter change.

Wow, those mounts are actually welded to the exhaust. Welcome to the best forum.

Thank you! Very glad to be here.

A Marine Corp Officer who had a astrophysicists degree built this Jeep. Still discovering stuff.

Good eyes. The oil pan armor has tabs welded to both exhausts. Guessing to support exhaust and maybe less header cracks? IDK. Never would have thought of doing that.

Two additional cross members to mount the oil pan and transmission skid plates. Tons of thick armor everywhere put none of it is beat up.

Good news whole under side is dry but those plates make working on stuff a little harder.

Legally grow it?? you mean there are illegal grow farms… like black market stuff for currants. Doing deals in dark alleys 🤣🤣
We're not taking any crap from a country that has "amnesty bins" in their biosecurity checkpoints.

Thats not all we can grow legally in Colorado

Did this a couple weeks ago over the span of a couple weeks in between travel but installed the Midarm finally. Sandblasted everything before painting so hopefully it holds up alright.

Realistically would've only taken a couple days had I not been traveling all the time.

Also made a couple frame caps out of 2"x2" x3/16" angle iron.

Peep the @Fluxor rub rails as well.

@mrblaine You're right on those front upper frame mounts. They suck no matter what.

Pretty certain I want to body match the aluminum, but my question for you guys is do I made the rub rails black or leave them shiny?

I think it looks sweet the way it is but if color matching the armor then color match the rub rails.
