What did you do to your TJ today?

Got the transmission back in. Everything was buttoned up and ready for a test run. Made it about a mile before the transmission cooler return line came off at the radiator. Dumped 3 qts of brand new ATF down the road before I could shut it down and safely pull over. Yes, I am an idiot that rushed the last few steps to get the project done! She is home now, under carriage covered in fluid. Guess I know what I am doing tomorrow. grrrrrr

Time to put decals back on after fresh paint (several months ago). I wanted reflective decals and a bit more subdued so I borrowed some 3M Reflective sheeting from the base and decided to cut them myself. Looks black but turns silver/white when it reflects any light (we use it on all ground equipment, trucks, tool boxes, etc. that operate on the ramp).

I went back with the original style in the original locations...

If you were to see it up close it has its imperfections, so it won’t hurt too bad! Sees a lot of pavement time anyway! As @KCsTJ mentioned most of my off-road would be granite rocks, but you never know! It’s got some deep scratches in the rear corners where a PO had some fun!

I lost one on a road trip and 4 Wheel was able to order a replacement. When it came it was one for each side. Haven’t seen another product out there individually that covers that area, but maybe you could give your local place a call and see if they can order them separate from the whole flare package.

Correct, paint correction process on the factory paint. Thanks for all the kind words. It’s not anywhere near perfect up close but from 5-10 feet away it’s good enough for me!
