CJ turn signals on TJ

This is the look I like.

Another one with JK turn signals. I picked them up off ebay for fairly cheap. I want to say $20 for the pair.

Think it would look better from this to the one above (CJ) ?

This is a largely question of proportions. The TJ grill is smaller than the CJ. There are also little manufacturing details on the CJ lights that are no longer present on the TJ. All things to think about, imo.

What manufacturing details are on the CJ lights that are no longer present on the TJ? I know it wouldn't be plug and play, and I'll need to wire in the CJ lights. Anything else? I know the JK are pretty much plug and play, but not interested in the JK lights.

The molding of the lens, the trim work, the means of attachment. Things were made differently 30-40-50 years ago than they are now or even 15-20 years ago. Some things visually work while others don't work as well.

These are aesthetic considerations that I find interesting. The TJ is a funny vehicle in that it's design language extends far beyond the time period in which it was made. It can support some really old and very new styling details in ways that other vehicles can't.

Well I know all the lens and trim work are different and things were made different 30-40-50 years ago....
I'll let you know how it goes if I decide to do it. Like the older cleaner look of the CJ front end.
