Has anyone used their synthetic line before? I emailed them and was told it is made out of UHMPE - same stuff Dyneema brand line is made from, which is what viking, winch line, etc use. But I know this stuff may vary depending upon who makes it. They've got good prices and sell the safety thimble made by a prominent member of other forums for those of you who know about that. So I'd trust that he wouldn't attach his product to crappy synthetic rope, but just wanted to see if anyone has personal experience with it.

I haven't used it personally, but I can tell you that I've bought a crap ton of parts from these guys and never had a bad experience with any of the stuff they sell.

They seem to sell top notch products. And they have a pretty good deal running on some orange line right now that I'm thinking about. And since we can get synthetic in all kinds of colors, on a jeep that's all white and black, I think some orange line up front would be a nice touch since I'm buying some anyway.

I hear ya, I would love some all red line on my black Rubicon!

For anyone reading this, got an answer on the interwebs. The line from 4lowparts is good quality stuff. I will update when I get mine, get it on the winch, and have a chance to play with it and the safety thimble that comes with it.

For sure. I don't see many red lines. It'll be a great combo between the synthetic line and the cool/unique factor of the red on black.

Dang! Just ordered my line last week. Supposed to get here Wednesday. I'm very much looking forward to my orange line and safety thimble combo.
I've heard nothing but great things about you and your business Ricky, and my experience thus far with your customer service backs up those claims 110%. I definitely will be ordering more things from you in the future.

I've ordered sooooo many things from 4lowparts.com it's insane... LOL

Just an update for anyone still following the thread. I got the line a while back. It looks fantastic and the thimble is pretty sweet. I'll be putting the line on a warn xd9000i after I get my new aluminum MC bumper installed. Should be done a little after Christmas.

(Confession: I'm just as excited about the bumper and fenders as I am about this line and the winch, and they are all in my possession, so I jumped the gun on updating my signature…shoot me:))

What color line did you get? I love my safety thimble and the fairlead that @Garza hooked me up with. It makes the front end look so clean.

Orange line and a black thimble. Should really pop on the front of my jeep with the white body and black bumpers.
