Doing a few minor things in the midst of my larger projects. Talking the flares off to clean under them, particularly the back ones. Also took the rear inner fenders out to clean. Gonna clean underneath inside the rear of the tub. A little rusty on the passenger side. Gonna paint in there after it's clean. Thankfully one of the POs replaced the Sahara flares with black plastic and decided to use these fasteners. [emoji849] though they did leave one nutsert, which is of course spinning.

Think of your axles as the anchor. Your moving the body; the longer the track bar the more it will push it to the passenger side

I just did m TJ and they are the stock fasteners. Had some spinners I had to visegrip fro the back. Knocked them out and replace with some 1/4-20s. There are kits available but once they are spinning new ones aren't going to work.

Metra makes them, one for ‘97 to ‘02, another for ‘03 to ‘06. Here is the one for a 2000:

They make a lot of car audio adapters, I haven’t gotten this yet or anything that large but their parts have always fit well for me in the past. There’s another thread I think in the How-to section that has this installed.
Wish I could have stayed for the rest of it. After looking at your front setup that is what I am going to follow. At least for a year or two.
It's a cheap way to gain travel. I plan on changing to fox shocks on the front as well, but that will be a ways out. If you need help let me know.

I had the same thing when I dropped my skid the first time, the rust came off in only what I could describe as pads. There was no indentation at the frame or the skid seems almost like a shim was added and they rusted.

Working on repairing the blower speed knob. It broke back in October and its been sitting in my coin tray ever since. We'll see how the jb-weld holds.

Looks great. I too have 3.07s but with 31" tires and she is a dog on hills. How does your girl ride with 32s and 3.07s?
Yes. It was huge flakes. And had to scrape off as much as I could off both surfaces. Wasn’t sure if it was frame, skid plate or something else like a shim like you said. But it comforting to know that I got to it before it became a major issue
I had 32s and 3.07 when I bought my Jeep. It was hard coming off dead stops and you had to ride the clutch a bit to get going. Downsized to 31s and it’s improved with 3.07 but still slow. Gonna regear to 4.10 soon and when it’s time for new tires I’m going to go back up to 32s.
Okay.....the reason for selling your other wheels. Found your other thread on the conversion. Nice that it fixed your vibe problem. I like your new wheels.
