Caster angle off on one side?

One key thought to keep in mind when seating the new ball joints, don't lubricate them to make inserting them easier. If you use a penetrant to help make their removal easier, clean everything afterward so there's no lubricant left behind.

Old ball joints can be a real booger to remove so you'll need a good long breaker bar and likely even an extension like a jack handle to give you more leverage against them. Make sure too that you have a good quality ball joint kit, and make sure you have the Dana 44 adapters you'll need to make it fit the Dana 30/Dana 44's ball joint angles.

You need the 27165 Dana 44 adapter kit which is available for rent/borrow from some auto parts stores. Like at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004FEJHYM/?tag=wranglerorg-20

This is what I really needed. I have all the means to do the work just need the know-how and the tools. It also does not help that its been in the 10-20's for the past two weeks. At this point, working in the cold is just part of the jeep life....I guess :)

Well there's that.
