Just figured it was a “Jeep thing”.
I wonder how many people live with all sorts of issues that they chalk up to being Jeep things . To be fair this does effect a whole lot of Jeeps though.

ROTM Pictures right there! Where did you go?Took a break from wrenching and went for a quick overnight trip and some Astro Photography.
Really impressed with way the jeep rides. Aired the tires down to 15psi and was amazed and the ride quality on the trail. The new gearing feels great in mountains.

I figured you were on the eastern side of the Sierras, nice to see there’s still patches of snow there. You can’t get good night sky pictures like that on this side with all they valley lights. Not every trail has to be a 10 to have a great time, my wife and I enjoy running those old dirt roads. I’ll say it again, great pictures!Went over Ebbets and Monitor pass to just below Bridgeport. To a small lake below Kavanaugh Ridge. Really easy little trial with some of the best night skies around, the lake is at 10,500 feet.

Yeah I really love the night sky on the Eastern side.
Light pollution is a really big bummer. I often wonder how many people are out there that have never seen a truly dark sky.

I can only imagine, I work with guys that haven’t been further than Tahoe on a road trip.

Looks like a great trip, I’ll have to try and get up that way and check this out sometime! Those dirt roads can be a fun and nice getting away from it all.
Yeah even the drives over the passes have some incredible views.
Taco Time yet?Looks like a great trip, I’ll have to try and get up that way and check this out sometime! Those dirt roads can be a fun and nice getting away from it all.
Ebbets is a pretty awesome old school highway mountain pass, not much use for the rush rush crowd, but if you’re in mind to take a scenic trip over to Nevada or even just to Markleeville for an ice cream cone, it’s the best. Deer Valley Trail would be a nice trail to do some day.
I only ran it half way on quads with my son and that was 9 years ago, so not sure.I need to do deer valley trail, how is it since they reopened it?
Taco Time yet?
Around end of the year. Hoping to do a maiden voyage with a camping trip over Christmas, just need to figure out where won’t be too cold
