I'm currently using an old backpacking tent. I'm about to pull the trigger on a 4? man (8'x8') with enough head room to stand up in. Iould also like to be able to use a cot during the warmer weather.

I spent the weekend at the annual VARAC (Vintage Auto Racing Association of Canada) Vintage Festival at Mosport which is north east of Toronto. I can't remember the last time I missed this race weekend. We had a group of about 25 race enthusiasts. The featured marque was F1 cars.

I tried many tents over the years; got tired of not being able to stand up straight in the tent during bad weather...
Wore out the first 9x9x6' dome, tried outfitter tents, then have had pretty good results with this;

So attached tent is likely a bargain solution. Lots of roof top solutions but no bargains there. Most attached solutions lead to lack of mobility. A solution might be a tent.... and a tarp. But what is yer budget?
