What did you do to your TJ today?

I bought it today!
FINALLY my first jeep. After years of drooling over my friends Jeeps and life getting in the way this one basically fell right in front of me! I have been on the lookout for a good deal and one in good shape for a while, let one go due to a decent amount of rust out in Cali a few years ago but then came across this 2004 Sport Se with just over 104k miles and honestly didn't think it would work out but I just picked up the keys and its officially all mine!! (Drove it home in the rain in true jeep fashion)

I picked up some JK AEV Pintler wheels with almost new Toyo Open Country tires off craigslist. I finally had time to mount them up yesterday. They seem to have tamed down my vibes a little bit compared to the worn out BFGs. I think these look much better too! They came with black caps, but I ordered the yellow AEV caps and I think they look good on the yellow Jeep.

I've been debating for a while now on taking off the rear milk jugs. Yesterday I looked into getting some end caps and decided when they came I would r&r them. I saw what they looked like and I remembered that I had ordered a set of caps for the front and the were the wrong ones. The company told me to keep them and they would send me the right ones. Well, I went and found the wrong ones, and they actually were for the back bumper. LOL Score!! :D So, today I took off the rear milk jugs!

Looks a little strange, but I guess I will get used to it. LOL

I..... don't like them. I love the flat flare look, but these suckers gotta be like 2" at least thinner. Gonna put the stockers back on until I can find another deal on some flat flares.

On that note, anyone know where I can buy a turn signal bulb housing with some wiring? I snipped the passenger side to rig up the leds but didn't leave myself enough room on the wire to tap it back together like a dumbass haha.
Where did you acquire those and the brand? I am looking at flat fender flares

If you're looking for super bright lights to replace the factory fog lights, these are incredible. They are SO much brighter than my new LED headlights. They make them in black, but I got red to match. I paid $40 for the set.View attachment 197173
We have discussed this, but I have the same ones, but I painted mine in red. Do you run those at night? My fog lights are attached to the light bar on the bumper and I am pretty sure they would blind people if I used them on the road. But man my headlights sure do suck, they have been on my list to align for some time.

Yes I use them on the road all the time. I had to angle them down a little so I don't blind drivers. I might add another set to some windshield mounts to use with high beams only.
p.s. My Amazon cheapo headlights are SO much better than stock.

I May go angle all mine down a bit, I don’t drive the TJ much at night so I don’t stress over it. I was going to replace the headlights and reminded myself of that and said “not worth it”
