My view is that it should be enjoyed. It's pointless to keep something in a garage all the time hoping the value will go up, but never getting to appreciate it. My Jeep stays in during the winter to avoid the salt rotting it out, but besides that I love to drive it an enjoy it while I can.I wish I didn’t see this,even tho that price is stupid, insane..the clean ones do keep appreciating. My Rubi is exactly like that, as clean and has 31K miles on the clock. I’m ready to do new wheels, tires etc..and then that double edged sword, mod it, have fun, or keep it close to stock for appreciating. Nearly every time I drive it, I get a compliment or a damn duck
Same way with old guitars. Love them, but mods, no matter how cool, tend to take away value.
That was my plan here. I’m driving it until the snow/ salt starts, then it’s garaged until spring. I’m doing that regardless.
At least that’s not insane, closer to a price I’d expect for a clean Rubi from a reputable dealer. Still trying to figure out why that black one is $42K.
They do not come stock with a double cardan rear shaft. The flange on the output shaft of the transfer case is different and does not have a slip yoke but it’s a standard style driveshaft. (U-joint on each end)
