Okay so I have a 03 rubicon. I have the Currie steering that works great. And have psc pump and box. I have the ram assist sitting in my garage and I would love to use it. But I’m not a fan of putting it to the drag link in the “y link” system I know lots of people have done it and black magic has a kit but I’m not a fan of it and already have the ram so I don’t want to have to buy a shortened one. So my question is would it be a good idea to buy either a high steer kit from teraflex. Or buy crossover steering and over the axle track bar mount from cav fab and mount the ram assist to the new track bar mount and tie rod. Or do I except I’m never going to run the ram on my tj and keep the Currie links

What size tires are you running? I have the PSC installed, but never installed the cylinder insist the kit came with. I've been driving and wheeling with it on 35" tires and haven't seen a need to install it yet.
Don't even consider going with a crossover kit unless you like shitty steering and bump steer. @mrblaine can comment on going with ram assist with Currie's steering kit, he's installed probably a few hundred of them.
Yes I noticed that and it bounced off me like water off a duck's back. Lots of people say they don't like something based on rumors or because their cousin Billy Bob said it sucks. I used to not like automatics for Jeeps until I learned better.
Blaine has installed many ram assists onto Currie steering and if it didn't work well he wouldn't be doing so. You know Blaine... if it's not the best way to do something he won't do it.
If I were to use blaines kit I would then have to shorten or modify the ram that I have already Wich I have no idea how to do and yes I’ve heard mixed reviews on his kit. But u hear mixed reviews on everything ..
That's alright, I'm not a fan either. The problem is as you've noted, if you want to give up your good steering and move away from the Currie then there are several alternatives each of which has an equally undesirable answer to running assist.
If you get cross-over knuckle to knuckle with a separate draglink, you have to deal with an adapter bracket on the stock knuckle, tie rod roll from the assist cylinder, and poor brake selection.
If you get the Tera crap, yes, there is a provision for a draglink but you still have to deal with tie rod roll, and poor brake selection.
If you get inverted T, then you have to deal with tie rod roll during normal driving and with the assist cylinder.
The Currie and my hydro assist is just a simple way to accomplish something that works. It is not the best way, the proper way, or the cheapest way. It is just a way that works that the average non fabricator can do with few ill effects. Trust me, if there were an equally effective way to do it with less hassle, I would have already done it.
Like anything I’ve heard from people that the Currie steering is garbage and I’ve heard that cross over steering is garbage. I’ve heard people say the ram assist should only be connected to the tie rod or the steering knuckle
Stop listening to anyone who claims Currie's steering kit is garbage. By far, it's the most popular steering upgrade because it works well, is beefy as hell, and doesn't fuck up the steering geometry like so many other kits do.
Yea I’ve never seen anything bad about it online but I’ve had a few people in person say they had issues with it I have no idea how u could have an issue with it Honeslty

So if I were to keep the Currie steering and use mr blaines kit. How would I modify the ram to work with his kit
