He is out!! He actually got out on Sunday evening when his parents picked up the last load of stuff they were taking. The Mom called that night and told us he was out and she had the keys. We decided to wait till Monday to go in. I went through my camera recordings of that night, on Monday morning, to see if he had come back sometime during the night, and he didn't. We went in at about 8am on Monday to see what we were in for.
This is what we found.
This is where the stove is supposed to sit.
Here is where the stove was sitting. He had it pulled as far has the gas line would reach, from the wall. The refrigerator was also pulled out as far as it would go too. The hose for the ice maker was pulled out of the hole in the wall and ran through the door opening to the hot water heater. Strange stuff I tell you.
While packing up his things, I lucked out and found the faces for the drawers, so luckily we will be able to reattach those, but obviously will have to replace the counter top.
This was the medicine cabinet that was on the wall when we lived in the house. Guess he decided it was better on the ground.
He obviously didn't flush the toilet too easily. Luckily there was no crap in it, so it will be salvageable.
He tore the bathroom door off, after putting a few holes in it too.
We also figured out why he had such a hard time with the front door. He must have tore it off at one time too, and tried to put it back on the hinges with 16 penny nails. They go all the way through the door. Needless to say, the door that has been on that house probably since it was built, is now destroyed. The flooring is going to have to be replaces not only because he put nicks in several places, but also because he watered the house so much that the subfloor is super soft from about the entrance to about the middle of the living room. He also must have let the washing machine or something leak, as there is also a soft spot in the laundry/kitchen area.
Needless to say, my son won't be moving in anytime soon. We figure since we need to replace all the flooring, we will clean the walls first. That way we won't have to worry about getting it wet. We will throw down towels and blankets to catch some of the water. Then we can pull the flooring up so hubby can fix the subfloor. Then patch the walls and retexture the whole house and repaint. We have our work cut out. Luckily I only have 1 more night to work and then I'll be on vacation for a week.
The part that sucks, is we didn't get to see the Sheriff kick him out. Guess even though he told his Step Dad, that he knew how to take down the officers, he decided not to do it. LOL 4 officers showed up on Tuesday and just took a look at the house and posted a notice in the window. Kind of boring. LOL
I did have to laugh out loud at the Step Dad on Monday though. He said that Danny came by their house at 6am in the morning. I told him (while I was laughing) "that's great, you get to deal with him now". LOL Oh, we found out from the mutual friend that is storing Danny's stuff for 6 months, that Danny told his Mom to just drop him off on Watt Ave. That is what she did. We figure he is going to stick around close to her house since that is where the money is. Step Dad told us he is going to put a lock on his gate. LOL
The End!
