Nth Degree Mobility Owners Resource Thread

Dang! Thanks for the offer. Let Jeeprz have 1st dibs on them. If he’s not interested then maybe we can figure something out. Thx 🙂

Jeeprz is a buddy I know from the PNW4WDA and he and I have discussed Nth Degree stuff a lot. Since I had the kit on my TJ and he has it on his YJ. I'm not sure if he'll be interested in them or not.

@Wildman

If you still have the Nth parts I'd really like to put them to use! I am repairing some old neglected items on my Nth kit and have been running into dead ends on finding anything. If its something your willing to ship I'd be down to cover costs!

Did something wrong. Sorry. The bushings are at the bottom where the inverted "U" is mated to the bottom plate. Tried to measure them today, was going to remove them but chickened out. They are oil swelled and I did not feel like fighting them back in:)

Close as I can tell they are 1" OD. The bolt is 12MM. I still think it should have a sleeve inside the bushings.

Make sure you measure under the head and they should be either 1 or 1.25 inch.

All J Products - Nth Degree Mobility Suspension System Lift Kit - Long Arm, Short Arm Gyro Joint for Jeep Wranger TJ, YJ, Rubicon (boulderbars.com)

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone has a SHOCK SHIFTER KIT 97-06 TJ/LJ WRANGLER NTH DEGREE MOBILITY Nth23100AC-NTH kit for sale or if anyone knows of a similar product? I have been looking for something similar for a few years and short of making my own i haven found anything.

I have the complete Nth degree 4in long arm lift with guards and up grades. The tie rod has Nth degree on it. Very heavy duty. Looking to replace all the ends. Hope this helps.
Thanks

I have a 2006 LJ R with the 6" (I believe) Nth Degree Long Arm full kit... Looking for a rear stinger and rear control arms (sway bar bolts wore a groove in both). I will cover all shipping costs. Let me know if you can help! [email protected]

What is wrong with the stinger?

A competent shop will be able to duplicate the rear arms with 2x.250 tubing, cold cut rings and 1" bungs.

Another Nth Degree owner here...from what I can tell, the previous owner of my 2005 LJR basically threw the catalogue at it, at least in the suspension and skid plate department. I've got the 6" long arm kit with track bars, tummy tuck, oil pan skid, and front/rear diff skids.

When I first saw my rig's suspension configuration, I was slightly bewildered and thought it was way overengineered. While I haven't dismissed this feeling entirely, I have certainly come to respect and appreciate its capability. My setup is strong, has fantastic flex, and the ground clearance is even more impressive. It is perplexing to me there aren't more dog-leg control arm designs on the market...what a simple, yet effective way to drastically improve clearance.

Knowing Nth Degree was defunct, I have been dreading the day my bushings and gyro joints need replacing. This thread has certainly alleviated at least a bit of that anxiety...thanks guys

Same thing happened with my rear control arms. The driver's side only lost powder coating, but the passenger side lost a decent amount of material (would guess 20-30% of the .250). I painted it and have been keeping an eye on it. Guess that's a potential disadvantage of the dog-leg design, though we also could have both avoided this with proper accompanying parts from the get-go. I installed 1-1/2" shorter sway-bar end links and that addressed the issue entirely.

I think @Malibuss is right though...your best bet will be to weld back a little material if they're worn down deep enough.
