Help me to prioritize upgrades

Well my main target is to improve off-road comfort
I run a factory rear sway bar. And my Jeep behaves more like a sports car than most. ;)

@jjvw Wow! Well if that is your concept of off-road we can say I've never actually used my jeep! :D
I just drive on dirt roads, maybe very bouncy with a lot of stones but no rock crawling and definitely nothing like that

Build the Jeep to behave well on pavement and it will take good care of you on the trail.
 
And regarding the 30 spline shafts for the Dana 35, you want 1541H shafts, not cromoly. 1541 can be used as a bearing surface. Cromoly cannot.

You mentioned that 1541 can be used as bearing surface. Does that mean that you can avoid the c-clips design? I was looking on Quadratec trying to find a way to avoid c-clip, I also asked them and they replied that all the axles they sell for Dana 35 are c-clip design. I do not do extreme stuff like you, but I often wheel alone on high trails 2000 - 2500 m (6500 - 8200 ft) or even more and my biggest fear would be losing a wheel on those usally narrow trails.
I was looking on quadratec beacuse I wrote to revolution gear asking if they sell overseas (I'm in Italy) but they never replied

Btw I'm reading you mega thread about your 2003 Rubicon... Man that's a proper encyclopedia! I've just 160 pages to go!

The C clip is not the weakness of the Dana 35. It is just attached to the part that stays behind in the differential when the axle shaft breaks. With the Super 35 kit you will be far less likely to break a shaft. Making the c-clip a non-issue.

The reason to use a 1541 axle shaft is because the Dana 35 uses the shaft directly as a bearing surface. 1541 is case hardened and can withstand that usage. A typical cromoly axle shaft cannot and the bearing will wear a groove through the surface.

Ah OK, now it's clear, thank you! So the 1541 is a matter of durability mainly and there is no way to escape from c-clip design (unless changing the entire axle assembly of course). I'll try to contact again revolution gear otherwise I'll find a 1541 option on quadratec

That is an outdated belief. I run that now and intend to regear to 5.13 someday for my 35s. 4.88 was very good with 33s and the 5 speed manual.
Apparently 4.88 would be a problem in the Dana 30 because of the pinion dimension that would cause to have one teeth only in contact

I don't understand this. There's no problem with running 4.88s in a dana 30? What do you mean by having only one tooth in contact?

I’ve been told that 4.88 would imply a pinion very small that make contact with the ring with one single tooth at the time. Allegedly this would cause durability/strength issues.
