Nice come back!! As usual you have nothing constructive to offer the OP to help him achieve his goal.
Nope wrong tree, wrong squirrel, perra!Farmergreg? Is that you?
Many years ago a good buddy hopped on our local forum and asked who could make him a rear Dana 44 set of shafts with ABS tone rings. After lots of searching and a crazy amount of money, Dynatrac came through. He got them all installed up and ran a few trails during which he figured out a hub kit was much better than what he was dealing with.Yes actually I did. Contrary to your belief that there is only one way to off road a Jeep, yes being light and nimble is the preferred method when tackling technical trails, but in WSS's situation that ISN"T something he is comfortable doing (losing all the weight). I' don't have to justify or repeat myself to satisfy your ego. You have offered absolutely zero positive contribution to his desired goal, which is to attempt to keep the front end of his Jeep a little more planted when climbing hills with his current cargo situation.
I don't have any first hand knowledge of how to properly install and set it up otherwise I would offer that information. So instead of being condescending maybe you could actually answer his questions about installing the Savvy Mid Arm.
..."the "satisfaction" I hear from Savvy mid arm users is, well, beyond what one would expect from a "short-er" arm kit. I am capable of installing this myself, so any hints at avoiding "re-dos" is very welcome.
Lets not focus on my current "kit", I get it. However, is this the best way to get into a mid arm lift?
(buying the mid arm upgrade incase you forgot)
Is it feasible to do one end at a time for less down time? Facts AND theories are requested."
It doesn't even have to be full on ultra light. It just can't be what it is and continue to run the same level of difficulty without long term issues.I think there's definitely something to be said about minimalism.
And another ultralight backpacker is born.
It would help if you understood the forest you were scampering around in.Nope wrong tree, wrong squirrel, perra!
I have to admit that's a much better reply than your first one to WSS.Many years ago a good buddy hopped on our local forum and asked who could make him a rear Dana 44 set of shafts with ABS tone rings. Installs the hub kit and in short order managed to twist up both rear axles which Dynatrac would not warranty. It was either deal with the wobbling tires or get new shafts.
The point of that mess is he asked the wrong question. The question should have been "do I need to retain my ABS functionality since I seem to be gravitating towards more difficult terrain?"
Sometimes the wisdom in a situation is answering the question not asked. In this case, he has zero use for the mid arm, it won't solve his problem and regardless of how easy it is or isn't to install or which end can be done, it really doesn't matter because it won't fix anything.
Just sitting hear sipping a sweat tea and watching the predictable outcome of yet another savvy mid arm thread.Farmergreg? Is that you?
I'm growing weary of telling you to fuck off.Just sitting hear sipping a sweat tea and watching the predictable outcome of yet another savvy mid arm thread.
Both replies are the same.I have to admit that's a much better reply than your first one to WSS.
???Both replies are the same.
I watched 6 seconds of the Gold Mountain video. I want nothing to do with any part of any of that. You carry way too much shit.
I wouldn't say they're the same.....The point of that mess is he asked the wrong question. The question should have been "do I need to retain my ABS functionality since I seem to be gravitating towards more difficult terrain?"

You carry way too much shit was the answer to a question he did not ask.???

Your reply to me actually explains that the mid arm wont help.
Glad you could rationalize that because I couldn't with how you responded. Great minds may think alike but I never professed to have a great mind. You carry way too much shit was the answer to a question he did not ask.
My second reply explains that, they are both the same.
And you were doing so well controlling your Tourettes lately, run out of meds?I'm growing weary of telling you to fuck off.
Why are you here? And you were doing so well controlling your Tourettes lately, run out of meds?
You summoned me dumbass. Why are you here?
You had to be watching for it, because there was no `@...` - just as a bystander wondering why you all have to constantly go at it in any midarm thread. This one even mostly finished with: a midarm won't solve your current problem, but lightening your rig will. You summoned me dumbass.
I thought I was done but “they keep pulling me back in”
