05 Flame Red TJ Build

I’m still debating with myself, but I’m leaning toward no. To me it’s always been hard to find a wheel set that I really like with Flame Red.
The Walker Evans 501 in graphite with satin black lip or Quadratec Rubicon Extreme in either gunmetal or silver would be my first choices. I’d love to get you opinion on those or other suggestions.
Yep, and one strong reason my inclination is to stay put with my DC-2’s. Plus, it’s just more $$$ for no more fxn. Beadlocks would be the only way to increase fxn.
There’s only one type of wheel that still looks good scratched up - Bead Locks.
Fully agree and it's only a matter of time and money before he gets there.

My need for beadlocks will be if I start snow wheelin’ more. Then I need to air down to 3-5psi. My 4:1 doesn’t help me there, need an Atlas with more options. I like rocks more.
With your spare delete you could benefit from reading this article, there is a familiar name in there as well. I had considered these at one time but I needed the protection of the BL ring for the rim. I even considered having one in the Jeep vs carrying a spare, at around $230 ish for a 17” single vs a 5th wheel and tire it could be the new ”thing” if supported by the right influencers

LOL Thats cheaper than my $4K plus investment in wheels and tires
There were about 5-6 people in my club running the other version of these.. Staun inner beadlocks. There were some install issues and other learning curve things but from what some have said this is suppose to be a better design. And it works great when you have a set of rims you really like.
I know what JMT is ordering NEXT.....
I'd looked into them back when everyone in my club was getting them but I had Allied beadlocks so wasn't something that I needed. And then I went to the Hummer dual beadlock since I was burping the inner beads on some of the extreme side hills on the Rimrock trails. And I wasn't the only one that had this problem.
I say DO IT... You already have the rims and like them so IMO it makes sense.
When I get back to civilization I’ll look into the installation. Limited access now, but nice getaway.
That looks like a sweet setup! Are there more pictures of the setup I can dig up in a thread? If not, I’d love to see some!
