Overheating after supercharger install

You guys are so off course. Come to south dakota with Governor Kristi Noem and enjoy your off roading, guns, and freedom. F**k the democrats. I love my state and Governor. If you happen to be a Democrat come anyway we can enjoy off roading together. Just leave your politics at home.
Tjforum South Dakota trail ride weekend?

If I move I'd like to get away from the white stuff that falls at certain times.
But I do think SD is a awesome state and like visiting.

I'm originally from South Dakota. I actually shook Noems hand at the Watertown 4th of July parade this year. However, I love Texas and will probably never move back.

Well I have the air/ water cooler working now for sure but I am still getting high IAT's under boost along with the missing and loss of power.
Outside temp 65*
Fully warmed up and idling IAT's 151
Started driving no boost IAT's dropped to 130* instantly
Up hill under boost IAT's rose to 170* quickly then started to miss and loose power.

Oh yeah it's loud af lol. Pretty similar to the new jeeps.
Doing some tuning with Ryan. He does not think the high IAT'S has anything to do with the tune. What map sensor are you using and how did you wire yours? I might have mine wrong. The one that came with my blower has to blue and 1 brown wire. I can't remember how I decided what wire went were.

It's going to be different for us because mine is an 06. I'll attach a picture once I get one though

Ok. I've got the srt 4 2 bar map but I have no wireing diagram for it. It came with a pigtail with 1 blue and 2 purple but no instructions of what wire is signal ground or voltage. On my jeep side I think orange is voltage, green/red is signal and brown/white is ground. It is numbered 1,2,3 on the plug if yours is similar it might help. Thanks

Any luck on the map sensor and overheating?
Overheating solved. Not sure what the problem was. I just put a new water pump, thermostat and housing and flushed the radiator 3 times. Not sure what did the trick.

Just installed a 3rd map sensor from O'Reilly and what do you know the stinking jeep is running great! The map that came with the kit did not work nor the crazy overpriced mopar map from the dealership. $27 O'Reilly map did the trick.
I just did a data log for Ryan so hopefully have the tune dialed in by the end of next week!

Well I'm just reading this today. Having mu h the same issues. Avenger super charger on a 4.5liter stroker motor.

Did you get it solved withRhyan?

Read the post directly above yours.

He states that he replaced the water pump & thermostat plus flushed the radiator 3 times and it seemed to fix the issue. He did say he was still data logging and getting a tune from Ryan @ FRP.

I get that. The first problem was overheating. The second was performance. Wondering what long term outcome was. And if tuning was needed or helped.

Tuning is always going to help, even on a totally stock engine, If I remember correctly the Avenger used a 7th injector? Ryan from FRP is known for his tuning abilities even on boosted engines.
