What did you do to your TJ today?

Those would probably work. I know you don't rock crawl and all, but I bet you do forest service roads with ruts and washouts, so some articulation will happen, yes? Factory control arms are designed to flex when the clevite bushings reach there max misalignment. The problem I see with those arms is no flex of the arm after the bushing reaches max misalignment. the next thing that would flex is your control arm mount brackets. That would be a bad thing IMO. I could be wrong here, so take it for what it's worth.

The tier 2 would solve that, they have the JJ on one end and give flex.

I started to drive my 03 Shara to work today, after flushing the cooling system and replacing the thermostat and radiator cap last night, and I got maybe 1/5 mile from home and discovered that I have "The Death Wobble" now. First time it has happened, so I turned around and brought her back home.

Most likely so. How much are the tier 2 arms?
Which one's is he replacing? All 8 are $779. 4 front are $399. Front lower $209. Front Upper $189. That gives you the idea. Not much more than tier 1

Best reserve this for another thread. But I always recommend this video...

Installed the GM replacement hose for the TJ gas filler hose spitting problem. Will fuel up in a few days and see if it solved the problem.

Is this problem specific for 05-06 models? I've never had this issue yet with my 03.

I'm doing the front first and I think I'm going with the tier 2 set. A good price and not overkill for my usage. I'm changing them mostly to correct a minor castor issue. The tier 2 should do the trick.

I was told the tier 3 with tapered bushings allow way more flex and much more
Flex than stock arms. I was super clear emailing them I do not want my arm mounts to rip off which I've heard is somewhat common with poly bushings and stock mounts, and they said the tier three they have run on rock crawlers and had no issues at all with the stock control arm mounts. I'd go with the tier three I payed $500 for the 4 lower tier three arms. I didn't buy a full set with uppers too so Idk what the full set of tier three runs for.

Metal Cloak arms are $454 for the front set of 4, just saying.

Ehh, everyone's got metalcloaks. In a world where everyone tries to make their Jeep unique and their own, I like going with other brands as long as they are quality. I'd put mine up against metal cloaks any day. I'm sure both are great. I'm not knocking either. I was torn between the metal cloaks and core 4x4, and went with core4x4 for their customer service and I like the bent arms better, and the core ones are substantially thicker than the metalcloaks. Like I said, I'm sure both are great and couldn't go wrong with either. I would take metalcloaks over tier two but tier three over metalclaoks.

I was interested in the double Currie Jonny joint arms but decided I didn't need them.
