Best place to mount a high lift jack?

I have a hi-lift that I will sale locally for $50 (when I get back to San Diego in a few months)... but I’m not liable if you hurt yourself.

Looks like I'll be hanging around

She said today she will drive it around some. It is a manual and makes her very nervous on the hills here in San Diego. She stresses about rolling backwards into someone.

Looks like I'll be hanging around

The Harley is on a trickle charger, but I don’t have one for the Jeep.

Looks like I'll be hanging around

I’ll be on the East coast for three months, then I’ll be back home for a week, and then back on the East Coast for another month. I’m going to park it in the garage with my Harley and my wife will start both of them once a week and let them run for a bit. After that, I’ll be back on a ship for...

Looks like I'll be hanging around

Some of you may have seen me post my TJ up for sale last week. I am about to be on travel A LOT and it will just be sitting at home, so I thought about getting rid of it. After going back and forth on it for a few days, I just couldn’t find myself selling it when it is already paid off and I...

    Are these shitty control arms?

I have heard great things about Core 4x4, but I’d go tier 4 in order to get the Johnny Joints at both ends. However, at that price point, you might as well get the Currie Double Adjustable Control Arms (Core doesn’t offer double adjustable).

Re-gear and Dana 44 swap completed

There is a break in period. Check with your shop to see if they do that for you (not usually part of the install in my experience).

Can I run 33’s on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler SE?

We would need to know more specs. Lift? Has it been regeared? Etc. If it is stock, you will truthfully need/want the following to run 33s: Lift (multiple options between suspension and body) DANA 44 or a Super35 in the rear Minimum of adjustable upper rear control arms (someone else can...

    New Soft Top Recommendations

Good choice on the top. I flipped my top back to the sunrider position and rode for 4 hours on the highway yesterday. It felt great and is sooo easy to do.

    New Soft Top Recommendations

Pavement Ends is made by Best Top and doesn’t have the straps on the outside of the windows. The differences are that the Best Top has an extra bar across the top to keep the top bowed up a little (to keep water from pooling on the roof) and the material is a little thicker. I have the Best Top...

    New Soft Top Recommendations

My fastback can be taken completely off pretty quickly, but I never remove mine. I just utilize the sunrider option when I want the sun on me. It is MUCH easier to flip back the sunrider portion and then close it back up than it ever was to lower and raise the standard soft top. It really boils...

    New Soft Top Recommendations

Well, I’m in the middle of driving it cross country. It was pretty noisy in FL where the wind was really strong, but wasn’t bad as I moved through AL, MS, LA, and TX. It is a Jeep though, so I expect the noise. I typically run it with the doors and windows removed 9 months out of the year.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Patched it for $8. We are in Emory, an hour East of Dallas on I-80. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do to your TJ today?

Nope. Plug and play. The only thing I had to do was adjust the beam so I wouldn’t blind oncoming traffic. Expecting that already, I just parked facing a wall, turned on my factory lights and put a piece of electrical tape where the center of each light shined, installed the new lights, and...
