What did you do to your TJ today?

My favorite ratchet is one of these. Stubby flex head, fine tooth.great for tight or open places.

I have the 1/2” drive but the end does not stay in place, so seldom uses it. My son even complained about the other day. I said “yes I know I use the 20 year old Proto in the tool chest”.

Installed a Spiderwebshade. I can’t believe I haven’t gotten one of these sooner because the temperature difference is crazy! This is a must have if you like to go topless.

As a side note, I bought the LJ version to get some extra coverage in the rear. Very happy with it.

Replaced my battery Friday. It had acted up last weekend so I trickle charged it then but didn't try starting it. I went to go somewhere this Friday and it only clicked when I turned the key. It was at 10.4 volts. It was an Interstate MT-34 and I assume it was replaced before I bought it in 2020, but it was dated Oct 2018.

A Super Start Extreme from O'reilly's ended up being the replacement. Then the original hold down block cracked during the reinstall. I ordered a Dorman replacement right then. It was at my O'Reilly's the next morning. I took the new bolt and washer off, reused the old bolt and added a washer at the block's underside to keep it from flexing so much. All good now.

Also about a week or so ago I'd removed the old window skins from their frames skins and cleaned them up with a wire brush. Today I hit them with some Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer. I'll let those dry and try getting the new skins on tomorrow.

I used a Dorman hold down block too when my original cracked. The bolt that came with it was installed from the wrong side, making it seem like it was the wrong part. I replaced the Dorman bolt also. It seemed to be too long.

I just took my top off today and put my spiderweb shade on too.

For some dumb reason, I tried to remove the rear window from the tailgate bar. I tried to get it back into place, but it is damn difficult to do. Any tips?

Same here with the reversed and too long bolt. I'd checked on some reviews and saw they came like this.

Appreciated having the extra washer though. I put it against the block's underside and used the original retention washer under it. All seems solid now.

I'd also purchased a battery mat Friday. It came yesterday so I'll trim it up, cut a hole for the temperature sensor and get it in place today.
