attached is a photo of my 97 SE 2.5 throttle body linkage. My finger is pointing to an unused connection. Is there supposed to be a return spring there? I ask because it sometimes settles back to idle very slowly and I have to tap the gas pedal. Or is it time to check the idle air control valve?

My 97 TJ SE 2.5 has cracked ears on the resonator. I looked at the salvage yard site but had limited results with getting responses. Does anyone know where I can get one with sound ears? eBay is loaded with cracked ones. I suppose if I can't find one I'll figure out how to fix mine.
