02 modified TJ, I don’t know where its going rebuild

I received the replacement switch module today. I swapped over wiper switch and got it in, so…..The led flasher still chattering when I switch battery power on. I found the oem flasher, stuck that in and no chatter and of course no turn or brake signals with old flasher. The headlight issue has been fixed with new module, got low and high beams now, all other switch positions work, didn’t test fog switch yet. The other bonus no idle change either when turning on headlights and alt not wining as much. Waiting for new led flasher, should get it next Thursday. If it still chatters I have some short going on in wiring harness? Alternator from Amazon may roll in tomorrow, I get some more info on that current output at idle rpm range before pulling trigger on hairpin. I Got the Malibu moving today, cleaned throttle body and did the throttle position reset procedure, all good for now. Struts and control arms need replacing and fix oil leak with a tune up. She wants it done this month. I am giving her very fair price for the job, it will cover the RIPP coil and the difference on alternator swap and or new battery? 😃

Well….She just texted me, Malibu in low power mode, add new throttle body to list for the Malibu.

Ordered this today, removing old pioneer head unit, cd player shot, removable face barely hanging on. I do not want to pay for Sirius x fm, removing the huge pioneer xfm receiver as well this weekend. Looks alternator will in be Monday.

I have an amp on order to compliment the pioneer, should get tomorrow and that out of the way and get passenger seat back in. Weather will be warmest tomorrow, get the full length bikini top on at least. Sound system Thursday. Planning on getting out the archery range this Sunday and wheel it around up there. That reminds me to check the t-case. Decided to hang on the alternator ordered on Amazon from from local source rather than getting that hairpin. I cant find find my clamp on amp meter. When I do, I will measure stock alternator then the 200 amp replacement with big 3 three 1/0 wire kit. Next January I will tackle that and front end. Did more research on the Ripp coil pack, hype, reliability is low with them and MSD. I will Go with NGK when it is needed. I got fed up with the LED flasher order from Amazon. I cancelled it and I ordered one direct from Off Road Only.
I did get the neighbors Malibu running, codes cleared, performance improved. I replaced the throttle body and threw in new sparks.
Next, Struts etc… early next year.

I received the flasher from ORO, LM470 5 pin flasher is what they use now, and everything works just fine. I did not get anything done over the weekend, got tiered of hand signals as far as going to range and doing any more electrical until light issue was resolved. Just need to adjust headlights now. May get some fog lights from Santa? I will move on to the new stereo and amp tomorrow?

Got it in, sounds great. Put the amp under driver seat. I managed just to tune in a radio station. Need to study up on the rest. Button it up tomorrow, I will give the center bezel a paint job like the steering column cover as well. A whole milk crate full of electrical that was removed. Work on alternator next, need to wait for next fixed monthly jeep funds for that. Get’n there, one day at a time. I still have the Jamo speaks in rear, those will be replaced when can fit it in money wise.
