Damn exhaust shop. Shit job. Supposed to be the best.

Getting rid of the lower shock extensions. Cutting the perches. Will see if this works with the exhaust.

Yep it's why the sell the shock shifter stuff. I did the same thing to my shocks way back when.

My rear shocks looked similar if not worse after hitting the spring perches and didn't give me any issues.

Agree with @jodomcfrodo. I trimmed my tailpipe when I did my tuck. Cut the downturn out so my exhaust exited pointing straight at the bumper. The exhaust gasses burned the powder coat on my bumper. I had to trim the rest of my tip and install another, shorter, downturn.

I would get a full turn going out the side of the Jeep. You'll have a lot of hot air heading back towards the gas tank when driving on the road. Want to get all that hot air out away from the underside of the Jeep as much as possible.

Meh...I love it, Hot air will be absolutely fine, by the time it reaches the gas tank it will be air temp. If I had 10 more Jeeps I’d do this to everyone of them. Eliminates so many issues.

Not so sure about that ;)

If I blow up, you’ll never find out. 🤣
Those guys at the muffler shop been building them hot rods round these parts for 35 years. They know whut they doin’!

My last tailpipe that came beside the gas tank and out the back looked like a pancake. Tired of that shit.

Since my TT in April, I'm getting those nasty harmonic oscillating vibes under load about 65mph+. 4.0, 6-speed, 456 gears, JB SSSYE, Adams DC

I need some help with the CA's front and rear. I'm trying to get the angles right so I can decide if I need to go to the next step and clean or replace u-joints (how do you know if those are bad), and finally have one or both shafts balanced.

Front pinion = 8.5*
Front DS = 8.3*
Rear pinion = 17.0*
Rear DS = 17.1*

I tried to start with everything even, and I've adjusted the rear several times up and down and didn't change a thing. The front I adjusted this morning. Pinion was 9.3 and DS was 8.4 or so and the vibes were coming on at 62mph, so it's a little better now that they are closer to even. What adjustments would you make?

Have you pulled driveshafts to determine which is the issue?

No, I made umpteen changes to the rear with no change in vibes, when I made changes this morning to the front I did get a change in when the vibes started 65mph rather than 62. So, I supposed it was the front. Do I still need to remove driveshafts with that knowledge?

I’d do it to see if it’s an issue with front, back or both. Then I’d address them as necessary.

I've read situations where the vibes only occurred when both drive shafts were attached. Remove one or the other and vibes went away. Not saying that is your situation, but that's what I did when I was diagnosing my vibes. I removed the front out of the equation. And just to make sure to myself, I also remove the rear shaft and ran in 4wd to verify. My vibes are coming from the rear shaft, or the combination of both shafts making the connection to the t-case. I have also entertained the idea of the t-case skid creating issues, which is why I went with a thicker Barnes skid. Adding a MML netted the most positive change for my Jeep to date. As a last ditch effort, I'm trying one of Tom's drive shafts with the X spline design and triple checked balance.
