Had a number of things to finish up today. Got started by upping the transmission fluid from the 4 qts I added to the 5 qts the FSM says to do when dry (I had thought it was 4 yesterday). Then I started adding the Savvy Auto Transmission mount. Gerald was good to get one out to me back in December. I had already reinforce welded it and painted it a couple months ago so it would be ready to go! Put it on and then put the TCase on. Little did I remember you can't reach the lower transmission mount bolts with the nuts till after I'd done all that and taken the jacks away. Back to square one! Got it right the second time around.
The upper Transmission Cooler lines was hitting the tub.
@mrblaine said to clearance it by tweaking it over with a prybar. It's now about 2mm off the tub.
Spliced in the four fuel pump lines by staggering them at the rail. Typical non-insulated butt connectors and adhesive heat shrink made perfect with the stake on the Klein wire crimpers (thanks again to Blaine). The lines are tucked up nice on top of the rail in loom alongside the brake and fuel lines that are also in loom. Attached the TCase shifter. Added the driveshafts front and rear. Everything looking good.
Inside the cab I bolted in the shifter, then the shifter cable, I bolted the console to the tab I welded in a couple of months ago since I have an '04 shifter on an '05. Put the T handle on, bolted the battery down and hooked it up. Removed the radiator cap so I could burp it. First attempt...
If anyone's wondering, yes, these are the tight quarters I've been working in. Sucks, but I shouldn't complain, some people have to work on dirt.
