2006 TJ Sport Build

Just kind of an FYI if anyone decides to do the internal beadlocks by Coyote be ready for a lot of prep work to get the bead on the tires smooth so it doesn't cut into the inner tube inside the tire especially if you plan on running Goodyear MTR Kevlar. It takes a great deal of time to prep the MTR's.

On another note, I've been informed that the 4 out of the 5 are ready to go on my jeep finally. The 5th beadlock was missing some pieces (called Coyote in California to get these pieces sent to me) but I was also able to find the pieces that are missing locally (parts have been shipped already from Coyote).

I'm hoping to have the new shoes on my TJ tomorrow as long as they don't run into any problems.

I'll keep ya posted....

Kind of a heads-up to the next chapter in the never ending list of parts that will be added to my jeep. Not sure if this will be feasible for this year as I am already starting out 2018 with a hefty bill for parts. Mind you the parts that I have already listed, most will be paid through a local company here that is sponsoring my jeep build for World of Wheels. There has been no set amount for what they are paying, but once it is figured out I will plan my next chapter (parts list more in-depth).

This is what I have come up with so far for the next (so-called) list:

Currie RockJock 60 - Jeep TJ Rear Crate Axle (https://www.currieenterprises.com/TJ-RJIIIR)
Currie RockJock 60 - Jeep TJ Front Crate Axle (https://www.currieenterprises.com/rockjock-60-tj-front-axle-with-big-brakes-and-hd-trac-bar-kit)
I spoke with Currie and because I want to stay with a 15 inch wheel both front & rear axles have to be custom made, which makes the price tag on these axles move up into the 5 digit range.

ATK 4.7L V8 Baja Stroker Jeep Engine (https://www.4wheelparts.com/Perform...=46&t_pt=4337&t_pn=ATKHP88#overview_Container)
Moroso Hi Performance Oil Pan (https://www.quadratec.com/products/51009_1002_07.htm)
Mountain Off-Road BombProof Motor Mounts w/1" Lift (https://www.quadratec.com/products/12590_072X_A_PG.htm)
Daystar 1 Inch Body Lift (https://www.4wheelparts.com/Suspens...aspx?t_c=1&t_s=20&t_pt=3680&t_pn=DAYKJ04508BK)
Bosch 3rd Gen 4-Hole Fuel Injectors (https://precisionautoinjectors.com/...uel-injectors-for-1999-2005-jeep-4-0l-engines)
Flowkooler Water Pump (https://www.quadratec.com/products/51212_60.htm)
Flex-a-Lite Aluminum Rad (https://www.quadratec.com/products/17800_1100_07.htm)
Metal Cloak Lock n Load Long Arm RockSport Edition Suspension Kit (https://www.metalcloak.com/TJ-Lock-N-Load-Long-Arm-RockSport-Edition-p/7179.htm)
Teraflex Low 231 HD Transfer Case (https://www.quadratec.com/products/52254_102.htm)
Derale Performance Direct Fit Transmission Cooler (https://www.quadratec.com/products/94000_200.htm)

With the RockJock Axles I will be going to 5.13 gearing.
How did you get sponsored for a Jeep build? I need to do that...

I went to a local company that I have been buying all my parts through and had a face to face chat with the owner.

But I'd say almost all suppliers of parts do sponsoring of some sort. You just need to check out their websites. Some have a specific timeline and budget for what and how much they will sponsor.

My sponsorship is for World of Wheels. Some companies will sponsor as long as you promote their product. They'll supply you with pamphlets, banners, etc if your getting sponsored for a show.

Good luck with your sponsorship requests. If you any help with this let me know. I've done other sponsor requests for a club event a few years ago also. We had 20 plus vendors sponsor for that event.

Well all parts are in now, now the fun begins of installing it all. The deadline to have everything painted & installed is March 13th (March 14th the latest).

1. Roll cage will take 2 full days to paint & install.

2. Fenders flares should take approx 2 or 3 hours.

3. Rear bumper & tire carrier will take 1 full day to paint & install.

4. I have misc items to install also: front brakes, hub & bearing, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, fox 2.0 steering stabilizer, set-up the Superchips tuner, replace spark plugs, replace oil filter and install 50" single row rough country light bar (I'm sure there will be other things that come up in the time period that also need to be done).

Stay tooned for more updates....

Damn those tires are huge!
