I just went through a major overhaul on my grandmother’s 2002 WJ with the 4.7 V8, including the entire cooling system. When it gets up to operating temp it’s only running at about 180. I feel like this is too low but I know nothing about this specific engine. My guess is the thermostat is stuck open.
