This guy is such a douche. He has an extremely punchable face IMO. With that being said, he’s probably very accurate.
I know people that work with recruiting and it's really negative right now. Afghanistan surrender and abandonment, bad advertising campaigns, unmotivated kids, low pay, most kids aren't eligible, targeting those that are pro-America as terrorists, and every time I've mentioned it, they mention not being allowed into schools.
There's a lot of veterans around the recruiting sector and there's so much support staff behind the scenes and at the local base, so many went to Afghanistan and I really think a lot of guys felt kinda stabbed in the back or something. Hell I felt stabbed in the back, as a civilian that loves this country and just the bad mouthing and the misdirection. I was of the opinion we first went to Afghanistan not to save the world, but just to not allow the harboring of terrorists and to keep the battlefield away from the US. However somehow everything morphed into all kinds of pet projects that had no way of success and then were used as the reasons to hand the keys to the Taliban to Afghanistan and our equipment after we had paid for everything in blood and treasure.
There should be a tiny black dot in Virginia.
