Might as well extend it up through the middle of Oregon and Washington as well.
I'm thinking we go all the way up to NYC as well.
They don't. The middle lane does - sometimes. The right lane is full of pokies, and idiots that can't use the onramp to come up to speed and have to slow down so they won't have to brake on the offramp. Its fucking rare - VERY rare - that I can get onto I-95 (70 MPH) at anything faster than 45 or 50 because these Florididiots won't speed up until they're actually on the freeway despite very nice and long onramps.
Okay, we can leave out Northern California (minus the Bay Area), that's fair.
Well, you know we are all rugged individualists and free to do as we please. But it is remarkable how well a large amount of traffic can move in some places in Europe with good lane discipline.
I remember how well the autobahn worked.
A major factor is people watching behind them and having the courtesy of not being an impediment.
