And all of those statistics on reading comprehension were dramatically higher prior to the formation of the department of education and federal funding of education. I don't believe for a minute that the DOE is incompetent or that this wasn't the intended outcome. All they have to do is have a press conference saying they are for educating the "underprivileged" or "poor" or "minorities" and they are safe from any sort of scrutiny. It's the shield of the "Great Society" that protects them all.

They need to get that money flowing back to the US politicians as fast as possible. Time might run out on the money laundering.

Win? What do they "win"? By most accounts they've lost 1M or so of their 18-40 year old men. Who cares where the lines are drawn? Answer is the ones who draw lines, extort money from the US for "safety" and the ones who've used the Ukraine to deal in war, traffic arms and people to support other line drawing around the world.

The real answer here is that the US and Western Europe don't want a winner... they NEED the war.
