I think it's less about killing people outright and more about population control. Gates has opined that this world needs to reduce it's population and IIRC one method he was purported to be fond of was sterilization on a mass scale.

Well, I don't like Bill Gates in the slightest, but he's right: The world is overpopulated. It will correct itself one way or another.

Agreed, but genetic manipulation, whether through introduction of a virus or a vaccine, is disturbing. Anyone who agrees with this tactic or partakes in it's implementation needs to be removed from society. I don't know if either concept is valid or not but there have been board certified geneticists that have expressed these types of concerns over the virus/vaccine scenario.

(Virus genetically manipulated to target the sick and old, Vaccine utilizing RNA to genetically alter the DNA of the person getting it.)
