Bestop Supertop TJ Sunrider Mode Problem

This just popped into my head, but my 2005 LJ had the OEM sunrider top and came with a webbing strap that wrapped around the center of the roll bar and had a hook that went up around the top and hooked into the header, doing much the same of what the post above shows with a clamp. The seller gave me the impression it was for holding the header down, but in hindsight it was probably to control the fabric.

Still...never figured out why they didn't just move the pivot point back to make it work like the frameless top does.

I will send a video this week when I put the top on. I had the same problem but its easier to show you than to explain how to fix this. Also,

check that these are tight because they will fall off if not. I lost one on a trip and had to zip tie it.

Someone else on here mentioned that they put the removable bow in that area to help support the fold.
It won’t lock in but it will sit in there and not go anywhere.
