Build plan?

Shit man! That is terrible. Past two years in a row we've been hit with massive fires with valley fire wiping out 1200 homes in Lower Lake, then the year before the fire wiping out Cobb Mt. My boss lost everything in that one. Fire is a heartless bastard!

My daughter lost everything in the Cobb fire.

After my weekend, and realizing that 90% of my jeeping will be overland and fireroads, I'm really doubting the need for a suspension lift. I would like a bit more tire though, and when I do go to the offroad parks, my gas tank and tcase skids are what get hung up. A body lift, tummy tuck, 32" tires, and Gen-Right gas tank skid would get me through nearly everything I'll ever encounter. Plus, I will retain the pretty great highway drivabilty.

I was going to go with a ome lift, body lift and 33's

Thoughts

This is what I've done to my Jeep so far and it's very road friendly and I can go any place "I" want to go off road. I like to drive trails, overland, Low maintenance roads, just basic off roading nothing too wild. I looked at a body lift but decided to go with the suspension lift instead. would like to get a slip yoke eliminator some day so I can lift the belly pan back up.

My experience with TeraFlex was great marketing and sales but often a bit lacking in the engineering. AEV is the exact opposite. Tons of great engineering and manufacturing but near zero on the marketing, sales, customer service end. You'll need to look close at TeraFlex products some are great others ????

Tummy tuck has always been in the plans, but secondary to a suspension lift. I guess I'm afraid of building some monster, that sucks up a ton of money, and that isn't drivable anymore. I hear all the stories lately about drivelines vibes at even 2.5" of lift. I do not want to deal with all that. Those types of projects and situations kill the enjoyment of a hobby for me.
I agree. A tummy tuck and highline fenders do everything a 2" lift does while keeping the driveline stock.

I have a Rubicon...So Already on 31's and have a flanged output from the T-Case (no Slip Yoke). I'm not afraid of driveline changes. From what I'm gathering, its the driveline changes, combined with the low gearing that we run in wranglers that is setting up the vibes. I'm bone stock and have driveline vibration already, so I'm hesitant to go 33's and need deeper gearing (I'm at 4.10) to get my highway performance back. The DS are spinning so fast in those cases I think balance EVERYWHERE needs to be perfect.

Its probably just me reading too much on the internet.
Same, 33s, HighLine, Stock suspension. Had a 2" lift but removed it. Found it did nothing for me or the wheeling I do. Even went back to factory 15x7 rims. No regrets. And I find the 4.10s plenty deep. Actually wish for 3.73s. You can always down shift but with 80mph speeds on the interstates....
