Love the Ballistic Fab differential covers. The overall build is looking strong.Hi everyone. First post on the TJ forum. I'm in the middle of my build and thought I would share what's going on. To start, I have a 2000 Sport Auto 4.0, Dana 44 rear option. Here is my build list.
Drivetrain:
Chromo axles.

Under Cover Fab engine and trans 3/8" Al skids.
Savvy gas tank skid in high position.
Metalcloak rails
1/4" steel Diff covers

1.25" body lift. Brown Dog MML.
Vanco 17" BBK and rear disc conversion

He painted them aluminum/silver himself. MC only powder coats them black. MC also charges like $500-600 to do it. I think the job looks great! I’d be interested to know how difficult the install was, and your experience doing this kind of work.Are you leaving them as is, or painting them?

I used about four cans of paint, so pretty low cost paint job. It’s definately not perfect, but good enough for me and looks good 5’ away.
