They have been around for about 10 years, slowly expanding their parts and shop business, they also do a lot of online business. They seem to have a lot in stock for a lot of vehicles. The owner used to sponsor a few clubs locally for their Christmas parties. Thier prices are on par with everyone else.
I also just checked out Midnight 4x4 yesterday, that place is a fabricators dream. Racks full of mounts, clips, gussets and joints. Its an hour drive to get there for me but WOW worth the drive just to be able to touch and see the itmes in person, and the guy at the counter was friendly.
I probably need to research local 4WD shops within a reasonable drive. I got burned a few times in my younger years with "local shops". This was before you could Youtube and Google everything under the sun. Got my ignorance played on back then and I guess I haven't gotten over it. I prefer to try to do my own work and research as much as possible. I'm horrible for over thinking things and having a "for a few dollars more" mentallity. Which is ok I guess but it can totally ruin a project for me to the point i'm just "eff it" and lose interest.
This is for my daughter who is in college and loves Jeeps more than any vehicle on the planet. (I'm a Toyota guy, I PREACHED 4-Runners but she wasn't having it.) This is her 2nd TJ since she was 16 and she has always wanted a slight lift and bigger tires for the beach.
Of course being Dad i'm just trying to make sure I get it right and relatively safe for her. I'm glad we both get to learn a little something together.

SE = 4 cylinder TJ: underpowered on the highway, adequate on the trail with 5.38 gears and 31's...sorry just a jab for another thread.
My brother-in-law has that set-up. Works great on the beach, he seems much happier after the re-gear last summer.
