I took my oem transfer skid off to have it sand blasted and power coated . After getting it back i reinstalled it but now i cannot shift into 4low. It seems to be in a bind but the reinstall went smooth. Ant ideas, Thanks, Ed
Ita a nice improvement but a lot of people would never need it or notice the difference. The Savvy cable shifter is a big improvement over the factory shift linkage.
I did support the trans but the skid was off for two weeks and the jack bled off about two inches, so this may have caused the problem, Thanks
I get what you are saying and agree, but in this case I believe he was only using the jack to support the tranny and not the entire vehicle. Of course if did use a jack stand to hold the tranny up then this probably would not have happened. Anyway, should be an easy fix.Sorry, I don't know if this has been touched in this thread yet and I hate being kind of a dcik but jacks are only used for lifting. Once you have the vehicle lifted you should ALWAYS use a jack stand to hold the vehicle. I would never trust my jack by itself.
