Savvy arms are awesome, synergy steering is a mistake

Just put in these Savvy on the rear, will have the front upper and lowers in when I can the next few days.

Most members I knew who purchased Rusty's products needed to replace them within several months of purchase. The comment about calling their Customer Service and talking to Rusty was that he comes across as SUCH A NICE GUY, but the quality of the products were always questionable.
The only item I ever purchased from Rusty was a steering box brace, but when I went up in lift and tire size I quickly upgraded the steering box mount to the uni-frame reinforcement plates and sold the brace.
Can't speak for Rusty's product quality in the past couple years; maybe one of the members has recent experience with Rusty's products.
I know everyone has their thoughts on brand but I'm curious as to why folks would buy CAs instead of make them. Obviously, aluminum arms would be difficult to thread on your own but as far as DOM and bungs are concerned a little cutting and welding is simple. For the price of better kits you can nearly buy a welder and the materials to make the same quality arms.
Even skilled welders and fabricators buy pre-made stuff if it's available. It's almost always cheaper in the long run if there is an off the shelf item that meets the requirements. Custom fabrication is generally only cost effective if there are no other options. Factor in learning to weld and buying all the equipment you'd be in deep before you got a passable arm.
Still seems very expensive to me. Sure, the ease of buying the set is there but building arms is very easy unless you need a bend. Also, once you have the joints and you need to build a new set it's very inexpensive. 2 bungs and DOM for each arm is all you need.

My first choice would be savvy, my next choice would be Core Tier 4, but since you specified tiers 2 or 3 I picked Currie.

They're pricey, but worth it IMHO if you want a control arm that will last the life of the vehicle.
The big issue with Synergy is that the tie rod ends are in line with the steering links. Whereas Currie bends then to reset the range of motion to match a 4" spring lift. Meaning that Currie allows for more movement than Synergy.Thanks for the discussion and your opinions. I ended up purchasing the Savvy set and a synergy steering kit. In retrospect it was a bad attempt at a joke. The rebuild video was pretty cool, a little less intimidating than I had expected.
No looking back now, 8 adjustable Savvy arms ordered to replace the Rough Country that came with the Jeep. New set of Bilstein shocks showed up today too, and a Metal Cloak gas tank skid a buddy gave me for my birthday. Would have rather had the Savvy GTS, but it was an awesome gift either way. Whats next? Savvy BL and MML and maybe a tuck? We will see what I break this weekend and go from there.
