Someone school me up on if I can cut down the factory bump stops in the front coil springs. I’m running 37s with highlines and minimal lift but am hitting the bumps sooner than I’d like and have plenty more tire clearance ~3”.

That squishy part compresses into the steel cup. When the steel cup touches the steel axle pad, there is no more up. That isn't what is happening in your picture. And it is unusually rare to be in a need to reduce the factory bump stops. Which suggests something else is going on.

Do your shocks reach full compression before the steel bits of the bump stop assembly touch each other? Is something else crashing into another hard part?

Most importantly, did you cycle your axles without springs so you can see what is going on in a controlled manner?

I was kind of serious. The jounce bumper looks to be what my Jeep had when I bought it, but hard to tell what they are made of. They were very stiff and took pretty much full weight on the one of the front wheels and opposite rear tire to compress the jounce bumper. Even then I'm not sure they ever bottom completely.
