Looking to mount my mod cut metal cloak fender flares.
I want to mount them a bit different than normal. I would cut all the body still in the flare.
That way the read fender flare kind of tampers off. I have some options I’m thinking of.
Has any one seen flares mounted like this before?
And what do you think of these mounting options? One is stock, one is angled that I would modify.
If you have seen this done, please Post photos!

Yep, I agree with what he said. Cycle the axles and remove what needs to be removed, watching out for the welds.

Of course it look dumb without anything being notched to line up.
cant hurt to ask what people have done

Option #2 will look really dumb when you are finished and fully installed.

I have not seen them done like that before. I'm curious to see how it turns out.

Have you considered raising the whole fender, still flat, up like this?

1st pic is similar to the cut jjvw required in the rear. cocked is kinda funky.
if you need more room i'd go 1/2 straight up, see what that nets.
as mentioned, cycling the axle and taking just the minimum is all that's required.
