Cutting pattern for window glass

It was a bar, servicemen called it the crossroads of Asia (or something like that) I just Googled it and it closed in 1987.
I was told by a Vietnam Vet that there was a large board on the wall and servicemen would leave notes for other servicemen to contact them or something to that effect.

FWIW, back 60+ years ago when cars had flat glass in every window most cars used laminated glass all the way around. Since then laminated been the standard for windshields and today many use it again for windows other than the windshield.

I don't know how stuff works in Thailand but here you could get some actual local glass shop (automotive or not) to cut you a new piece from laminated glass if you give them the scratched glass. Doing that (here) would be so cheap that you could get both sides and the windshield all cut by hand for far less than anyone with a laser cutter and the ability to temper just one piece of glass would charge.

I'm not sure about Thailand regarding the windshield but we have some laws about what laminated glass can be used for that. The laws are all about how well they can be seen through and little if anything about strength. I'm not worried about our laws, I have some flat laminated glass from a storefront just laying around in case I need to cut a replacement windshield, or side glass, for my two Jeeps.

I take it they don't care if it's scratched. And there's no way legal or not, to make them care and/or correct it in any way?

Instead of using an old-school cardboard I'll make an autocad drawing the glass company can use directly for their machines, which I can just email them (est cost is $50-$60). I'll share the autocad file here once I'm done in case anybody else ever needs it.

I remembered that 20 years ago I had 3 years technical drawing / engineering in school back in germany.. was on paper back then, but I should be able to figure out how to draw a rectangle with some modifications in autocad ;-)

Anybody having a windshield laying around and can send me the exact dimensions of it, so that I can make a complete set of cad files just in case? I guess the windshield is just a straight rectangle with round corners, and I can't rip out my rubber seal just for taking measurements of course.
