Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

I'm looking at die grinders for the upcoming cut-off-the-track-bar-mount project. Is this one good if I can get enough air to it?

That's good for sanding discs. You will struggle to find an affordable die grinder that will run a cut off disc and do any good with it. If you do find one that will work, the air consumption is astounding. Dynabrade is about what you are looking for. Right angle version.

Any recommendations for a one time use tool that isn't $500? :)

What about a carbide burr to get into the spots a normal 4.5" grinder can't get? I know those things are death by a million needles, but I can suffer for a few days afterwards.

You can do like I did and buy 4 or 5 90-200 dollar each before you finally get tired of them cutting 1/16" deep per 1/2 hour and then go buy a real die grinder. The one you posted first will actually work. It will be slow and painful, but you can do it. Need some Jimmy's Death Shine cut off discs to stand a chance.

On the same (barely adequate) compressor, will a Dynabrade work better than a $90-200 unit?
