No, differentials are different than swaybars and perform a different function.
The swaybar is pictured in my previous post and limits articulation of wheels on the opposite side of each axle. In the front it wraps around the front of your Jeep just behind your bumper. You can disconnect them in each end to allow more articulation.
The differential is housed in your pumpkin, about the middle of your axle both front and rear. There are different kinds of differentials that serve different functions. Most on road vehicles have a limited slip differential to allow the outside tires to turn faster when turning a corner. These are great for the road but not great when an off-road vehicle is off camber. There are different kinds of locked differentials to solve this problem, but in general, the goal is to lock the axle into a spool so both tires turn no matter what. This is advantageous off-road
