Flyin Ryan tune question

I've tuned my own using the same tech FRP uses. The 1997-2004 JTEC/JTEC+ PCMs are fairly simple. No reliability or emissions issues. I just wanted to learn it myself as I have plans to build a stroker and then tune that. I also tuned my dad's 06 LJ Rubicon 6-speed with the NGC3 PCM.

Not to say I have any issues with the service FRP provides.

No issues. Doesn't prevent unrelated issues from popping up, but I've never had an issue with the canned tune.

The closest I had to an issue with the tune was some pinging while depressing the accelerator, but I was able to resolve that by adding in a bit of throttle rate spark retard.

The tune itself is worth it even if just for the spark map in my opinion. It's adding as much as 30 degrees of timing in some spots, which makes a huge difference.
