So...Any advantage to going new here? I found a crown kit minus the bolts for about 90 bucks. Its all new parts...is there any advantage to going new here, or just putting the old ones back in? I have to replace two lowers, it looks like.

The only advantages I can see are that a) eventually in your environment you will probably have to replace them all and b) you'll already be there, so why not? For me, I live in a salt free nice climate, so I just replaced the two that were cracking, and moved on. If money was an issue, then I might not, but otherwise...
Well, I bit the bullet and bought the whole kit. Putting enough other new and or restored stuff into this thing, what's another 100 bucks! J.ust E.mpty E.very P.ocket
Nice kit. Looks just like the originals...but its not quite the same. The bottom pucks are slightly longer that the OEM ones. I measured the Crown to be 1 3/8" tall and the OEM ones to be 1 3/16. Not enough to make a difference with OEM hardware. However...I'm also installing a JKS 1.25" Body Lift at the same time. The bolts JKS provided are not long enough to go through everything. To be fair, I don't think they would have been long enough with the OEM mounts either, but I just wanted to mention it here.
The picture shows the bolt sticking through about a 1/2 inch. I couldn't get them started. I did install one of the new mounts with an old bolt and NO lift puck, and the bolt started threading about a half inch from being seated (which is what I'd expect). SO...If you buy the JKS kit, plan on running to the store for new hardware.
