Instead of regurgitating everything you've consumed in your "research", perhaps you go to their website and take a look at their trackbars? Looks like they use an incredibly similar bushing as their control arms. Atleast in one end.. So i'm not really sure what you're trying to say,
Track bars are control arms. Between MCs two track bars, there are three heim joints. Heim joints don't reduce NVH. NVH means noise vibrations and harshness. That means the rear MC track bar does nothing to reduce NVH. And the front is relying on it's one proprietary little rubber bushing.
Why does this matter? Either the Metalcloak bushings are somehow uniquely capable of reducing NVH in ways other joints and bushings cannot. Or it doesn't matter one bit and Metalcloak is making things up to sell products. They make shit up for other things they sell. Why not control arms, too? Because what they claim doesn't make sense given their own inconsistency within the product line.
And never mind that the entire reason to move away from the bonded rubber bushing is to increase the amount of usable misalignment without relying on an elastic connection. Currie figured this out a very long time ago with the Johnny Joint rod end and became the industry standard. But then Metalcloak wanders in about ten years ago with a claim that their bonded rubber hybrid bushing can stretch and support similar misalignment as the Johnny Joint. And yet here we are with ten years of torn and failing Metalcloak bushings coming from those with long travel shocks who actually use them on a regular basis.
Add to that, I have personally seen Metalcloak bushings squish and deflect to the point of creating axle wrap and drive line vibrations that didn't need to exist.
So, in my personal observations and experience with MC bushings, they are not a good product. And they do not somehow improve the ride and handling in any way that isn't immediately overshadowed and forgotten about by happens with shocks, tires, steering, sway bars and suspension geometry.
Those of us who have dug that deep are not interested in ridiculous claims about control arm joints or bushings having amazing effects on ride quality because it simply isn't there.
And we can get really annoyed by those who do not have similar backgrounds in experience and understanding trying to insist otherwise. So, do us a favor and tell @ljk to sit down and be quiet.
