New to the forum but not to Jeeps. Have had a 99 sport a 2003 rubicon a 2005 rubicon a 2007 Sahara a 2005 Lj rubicon and a 2000 xj Cherokee. Recently bought a 2004 rubicon. Always loved Jeeps but were not practical when my kids were young. Both boys out of the house now and finally back to a Jeep. Here’s a pic of what I just bought. Still waiting for it to be shipped out to me. Need some steps/sliders if anyone has suggestions that would be awesome. Can’t wait for my wallet to be empty.

@Fitzpatrick, first off, great choice in the Rubicon and the color! My Rubicon is the same year and the same color. I think you might dig it, so check out my build thread here: My 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon Build Thread: I Can't Stop Building It! (Formerly "Less is More")

As far as sliders / steps, these are the ones I run on my TJ:

I absolutely love these. They don't require any drilling, bolt to the body mounts, and install in about 15 minutes per side.

In addition to that, they are very durable, the finish on them is thick and looks nice, and they stick out just enough to function great as a slider and step. I also like that they sort of line up with the fender flares, which really completes the look.

Here's some photos of them on my Rubicon:

And yes, it really is a Rubicon, I just need to put new decals on since I had my hood repainted.

Looks good. I’ll check them out. Love the color this will be the second khaki I’ve owned first was my 03 rubicon I bought new in 03.

Genright Mini Boat Sliders are my number 1 pic. Savvy is number 2. Then TNT or JCR Crusaders. My reasoning is purely function, though they look good too
Just got my savvy sliders installed today. I chose to do a paint match for the slider and a black powder coat for the step. I have to say that I was quite impressed with the savvy quality from the folks! And I really like how they turned out!
Welcome back to a Jeep!

Very clean! I too prefer a color match against the tub and a Black for the slider. Great call. Looks fantastic!!!
