That's exactly what they are, sliders. And believe it or not, mine have a couple dents in them and a couple long scrapes lol.Hey Jerry what are those slider looking things on the top of your rear tub?
Yes, it paints just like any steel. Just spray some self-etching primer first (Rustoleum makes it) and then rattle-can paint like Rustoleum or Krylon. That's cool! Can one paint stainless steel?
Or in my case when you drive by braille. You know you're hard core when you NEED sliders on TOP of your tub! lol
The front fenders were both rusted out when I got it (common thing around here). I bought a pair of new ones and had them painted, which cost more than the fenders! It was a pretty easy job to remove and replace them.Very nice, how did you get rid of the rust on the driver's side fender? Did you replace the fender?
Thanks. When I bought the Jeep I acted like it was a near impossible job to replace them. It helped knock the price down.Nice job on the fenders.
Nothing wrong with that. Seller didn't want to do it...Thanks. When I bought the Jeep I acted like it was a near impossible job to replace them. It helped knock the price down.
