It's going to be my first trip also. My jeep is not as built as most, and I plan on tagging along as best I can, for the most part. Now I have to go look at the list.

Maybe we need a 1st timers list or experience list?

I would probably think we want to start with either fins+hells or metal masher, it will be a good place for you to cut your teeth on the terrain. And get a feel for how much damn traction you're gonna have. I would think most people that are going will be able to do those.

I know that picking the right line to a obstacle is crucial. Having done the Rubicon trail in the 90's taught me that. I feel pretty confident that if I do my part picking the right lines, I think O'L Silver will be able to do his part. Moab has been a bucket list of mine for a long time. I'll be doing this trip on a budget. I'm really looking forward to it.

Been to Moab a few times but this will be my first time wheeling there. I know we have a pretty experienced group, I'm down to follow anyone on similar built rigs. Might ask for spotters but I'm usually pretty good about being able to follow others lines. I am definitely not qualified to lead anything

What's there for overnight?

You have to book one of a number of dedicated sites for overnight, but they are all remote so you're not likely stepping on others.

I could trailer down with the Lance.

I didn't have this need, but I believe there's parking in and before the main staging area for this.

I can carry 15 extra gallons of gas if there wouldn't be any clearance issues with the morryde side cans.

I don't think you'd need to carry extra gas for most MPGs TJs/LJs get as long as you leave with the max fill, but that last chance expensive station may alleviate anxieties if they're functioning.

There were 4 votes for elephant hill, including me. So we put it on the day of Pritchett so you guys can go together as a group - I don't mind sitting it out, I'll get there one day.

2 groups for some of the days depending on what you want to run. Let me know what you think!

I haven't gotten around to voting yet. I won't get there until Sunday the 4th myself. I was hoping to do Fins and Hell's revenge on Monday the 4th? Maybe others will be available then?
