thats wild. my step dad tried hard to even get a release date dark horse and couldnt. we think its because canada doesnt have the buying power of the usa.

Ferrari does something like this too I believe. I’ve not tried ordering one to be certain but I think previous ownership makes it easier to get an order allocation.

As I understand it, Ferrari is pretty militant about who they'll sell cars to, particularly special editions. As well, I think you're required to purchase a number of other Ferrari cars before you're given the option to buy up. I recall hearing Chris Harris talk about it on one of his podcasts, I think he also mentioned they have a habit of banning auto journos from review their cars if they've ever been critical of the brands creations...and he should know as they banned him.

For me, I think the last good looking model they made was the 458 Italia. But even if I had the money I don't think I'd play (assuming Ferrari allowed me to).

Well, they are at it again.
After getting smacked around by the ZR1X, Ford rehashed the GTD and posted an amazing time to take back the crown. Now, I am a Ford guy for sure but even with the GTDs quicker time…I want a ZR1X, what an amazing car!

Yep now the GTD is the second fastest American car on the ring. Also the second fastest Ford.
